NOTICE OF MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING
THE DADE COUNTY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (the “Authority”) will meet in public session at 3:00 p.m. local time, on July 27, 2015, at the Dade County Commission meeting room located at 71 Case Avenue, Trenton, Georgia  30752, for the purpose of considering and transacting all business which may properly come before the Authority, such business to include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
1. Authorizing all documents and matters necessary or desirable in connection with the issuance of the Authority’s Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds (Covenant College Project) Series 2015 (the “Bonds”) in the original principal amount not to exceed $11,100,000, the proceeds of the sale thereof to be loaned to Covenant College, Inc. a Georgia nonprofit corporation and a 501(c)(3) organization, to finance improvements to its educational facilities located on its main campus at 14049 Scenic Highway, Lookout Mountain, Georgia  30750.  Such improvements include the renovation, construction and equipping of an approximately 129,000 square foot building known as Carter Hall, for student housing, a dining hall, a bookstore, a mailroom, conference rooms, multi-purpose activity space, administrative offices and all related expenditures (collectively, the “Project”).  Proceeds of the Bonds will also be used to pay issuance costs.  Covenant College will be the owner of and will operate the Project.
A public hearing (pursuant to Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended) will be held at the above scheduled meeting by the Authority in connection with the issuance of the Bonds and the location and nature of the Project.  At such public hearing, there will be an opportunity for persons to express their views concerning the foregoing.  Anyone may appear in person at such public hearing or submit written comments to be considered.
