TREE PLANTING

CEREMONY

Everyone’s invited to a tree planting ceremony in honor of Eloise Gass, leader of Tree City USA in Trenton/Dade County. The plating will take place on National Arbor Day April 25 at 10 a.m. on the lawn beside the Department of Education.

 

DRIVE4UR

SCHOOL EVENT

The Dade County Technology Student Association will be hosting a DRIVE4UR School Event sponsored by Ford and Moss Motors at Dade County High School on May 2 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. For every person that test-drives a new Ford they will donate $20 to Dade TSA. FISH FRY AT

NEW SALEM

New Salem Fire and Rescue will have a fish fry at the fire hall Friday, April 25 at 6 p.m. The menu will consist of farm–raised catfish, chicken, hush puppies, baked potato, French fries, slaw dessert, drink and all the trimmings. A free will donation will be taken and proceeds will benefit the fire department. The fire hall is located at 12477 Hwy. 136. Please join us and as always, thank you for your continuous support.

CLINIC

The Dade County Animal Hospital will sponsor a rabies clinic on April 26 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Ag Center in Trenton. The cost is $10 per pet.

Pre-Registration for re-testing of the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT) and the Georgia High School Writing Test (GHSWT) is now underway. EXAMS IN DADE

The Department of Driver Services is in Dade County every other Monday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., in the Dade County Justice Building. The next few scheduled dates are May 5 and May 19.
