The Dade County High School boys’ soccer team defeated Ridgeland High School in their home opener. 

Chandler Gaddis had the Wolverines’ lone goal off an assist from Trevor Jackson.  The Wolverines thwarted late threats from the Panthers to stave off a late tying goal.  Dade’s back line held fast with stalwart defensive efforts from Ty Powell, Seth Schratter, Kipp Smith, Paul Peers and Michael Moody.
