County, City Meetings

The Dade County Commission’s regularly scheduled monthly meeting is at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Administrative Building.

City of Trenton leaders will meet Monday, 7 p.m., at City Hall for their monthly meeting.

Davis School Reunion

The annual Davis School reunion is Saturday  beginning at 3 p.m. at the Dade County Senior Citizens Building.

All alumni of Davis School is invited to attend. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish.

Barbecue Is Sunday

The Ladies Auxiliary and the SAL with America Legion Post 106 is having a Bingo and barbecue fundraiser Sunday beginning at noon.

A plate lunch will be served consisting of barbecue pork,  slaw, chips, dessert and drink. Hot dogs will also be available.

After lunch Bingo will begin for donated prizes.

Proceeds from the event will be used to send care packages to the men and women serving overseas.

Revival At Local Church

New Vision Church of God is hosting a revival Sept. 9–12 with Evangelist Lewis Smith from Boaz, Ala.

Sunday night service begins at 5 p.m. and weekday services being at 7 p.m. Eastern time.

The church is located at 6255 Hwy. 301, Trenton.

Everyone is invited to attend.
