pilot John Stokes of Trenton announces his new book, An Eagle’s Sky: My Life As A Birdman (How I Eventually Took a
One-Winged Bald Eagle Hang Gliding.
Stokes says the
book is the true story of how he gave Osceola, a bald eagle he rescued after it
was shot in the wild, a second chance at flight. The raptor’s left wing had to
be removed to save its life, but with the help of Stokes and his hang glider,
Osceola regained the freedom of the skies.
