Throughout
History the world has opposed Christ and Christianity. Kings and Queens,
nations, governments have tried to destroy the Christianity and the Bible but
they still remain. This Christian generation is now being intimidated with
lawsuits and challenges for simply praying in the name of Jesus. There are
Christian conflicts with issues of “under God,” “Christmas Tree,” “Managers,”
“Crosses,” “Bibles,” “Christmas,” and the name Jesus.
Some sought to
remove “crosses” from highways, but this failed when it was realized that all the
graves at Arlington Cemetery have crosses for monuments. Some now promote Happy
Holidays, Spring, and Winter holidays, instead of Christmas, and Easter
holidays.
Some states and
schools have now banned the name Jesus Christ from public prayer, events, and
government. Military chaplains are to refrain for using the name Christ or His
title. Some courts declare it is unconstitutional to use the name Jesus...
Washington
(UPI) January 22, 2012. This year there was not a formal event for the “Day of
Prayer” which was started in 1952...(Wikipedia).
Now at
Christmas time it seems that Jesus is being banned from His birthday? The early
Christians cast out demons in the name of Jesus, but today atheists are now
casting out Christians in the name of Jesus from public places. I pray in the
name of Jesus Godly foundations will once again return to our country. It is a
fact that without Christ there would be no Christmas. Without Christ there
would be no Christianity. No one can even go to Heaven without Christ – No one!
“Neither is
there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given
among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The Supreme Court may now ban
His name, but there is a power that is higher than the Supreme Court and one day
all will bow at the mention of the name Jesus. “That at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow... And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11).
This Christmas
we should boldly lift up the name of Jesus and say as the angel, “Fear not:
for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all
people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is
Christ the Lord...” (Luke 2:10-14).
Merry Christmas
because it is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus for all mankind (John
3:16). I am thankful I still have the right to write publicly that I am a
Christian, and I appreciate the boldness of Dade Sentinel to print it. Happy
birthday Jesus! You are the Christ of Christmas! And from the words of the
Christmas Carol... God bless us all everyone! ...These are Words of Wisdom..
