Deadlines Moved Up

 

Due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays the Dade County Sentinel is moving up the deadlines for the next two editions – Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

All business ads will have a deadline of noon on Dec. 20 for the Dec. 26 paper and again at noon on Dec. 27 for the Jan. 2 edition.

News releases, photos, community events, classified ads, legals, etc., have a 10 a.m. Friday deadline on Dec. 21st and 28th.

The Sentinel office will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 for the Christmas holiday and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the New Year's holiday.

The Sentinel staff wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!

 

Property Taxes Due

 

Dade County property taxes are due tomorrow by close of business according to Dade County Tax Commissioner Jane Moreland.

If property owners do not pay their taxes by tomorrow a one percent penalty will be added. The same penalty will be added every 30 days until March. 20.

Unpaid taxes after March 20th will be penalized by an additional 10 percent.

Payment plans can be arranged if the situation warrants.

Candlelight Service

 

Wildwood United Methodist Church invites everyone to its Community Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 6 p.m.

Special music will be provided by guest violinist Ismael Sanford and church pianist, Andrew Boyko. The service will be by Andrew Givens, pastor.

Luminaries will light the walkways if weather permits. Dress is casual.
