Deadlines Moved Up

Due to the New Year's day holiday the Dade County Sentinel will have an early deadline for the Jan. 2 edition

All business ads will have a deadline of noon on Dec. 27.

News releases, photos, community events, classified ads, legals, etc., have a 10 a.m. Dec. 28th deadline.

The Sentinel office will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the New Year's holiday.

Probate Court Closing Early

The Dade County Probate Court will close at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 31 for end of the year preparations.

The Probate Judge and staff apologizes for any inconvenience.

The office will reopen Jan. 2

New Year's Eve Singing

The Dade County Singing Convention will be New Year’s Eve beginning at 7 p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church.

Singing will be held until 9 p.m. and after a break for food and fellowship will resume to sing the old year out and new year in.

Everyone is invited to attend.

Candlelight Service

Open Door Baptist Church will have a candlelight New Year’s Eve service Dec. 31, 8 p.m., with special speakers and singing.

The church will be praying the New Year in at midnight.

Fingerfoods will be served.

The church is located on Sarah’s Chapel Road in Wildwood.
