MARY BEASLEY

Mary Geneva Beasley, 87, of Trenton, died Jan. 14.  She was a member of Trenton First Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Benjamin Beasley; sons John “Tony” Beasley and Benjamin “Benny” Beasley; parents, William Ned and Myrtle Jackson Sullivan.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Scoggins of Flat Rock, Ala.; grandchildren, Mark Beasley of Sweetwater, Tenn., Rebecca Clure of Ider, Ala., and Benjamin Beasley of Scottsboro, Ala.; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

WILFRED H. DANIEL

Wilfred H. Daniel, 85, of Lookout Mountain, Jan. 17. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of New Lookout Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon “Skillet” and Alta Mae “Dot” Clark Daniel and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Shirley Hodnett Daniel, sons, Gregory (Beverly) Daniel, Jeff (Brenda) Daniel; six grandchildren, Dale (Jennifer), Heath, Andrea, Lindsey, Sarah (Sgt. Manuel Barnett), and Nicholas (Rebecca); five great-grandchildren, Alleigh, Brody, Josie, Sophia, and Gabriel.

Gina Christine Kilgore, 36, of Valley Head, Ala., passed away Jan. 10.

Survivors include her husband, Eric Kilgore of Ider, Ala.; sons, Sam McAlpin, Pearson Chadwick; daughter, Hayley Kilgore, all of Ider, Ala.; mother, Lisa Metallo (Joe) of Valley Head, Ala.; brothers, Josh Hulgan (Cassie) of Valley Head, Ala., Kevin Hulgan of Henagar, Ala., Joey Matallo of Calif., Thomas Brown (Nicole) of Ider, Ala., Charles Brown of Ider, Ala.; sister, Theresa Bell (Kevin) of Ider, Ala., Amy Williams (Tren) of Fort Payne, Ala.; grandparents, Jean Brown of Ider, Ala., Millard McNutt of Valley Head, ala., Lola Metallo of Fort Payne, Ala. and Louise Hulgan of Valley Head, Ala.

Funeral services were Jan. 19 in the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Ellis officiating.

Interment was held in Head Springs Cemetery at Hammondville, Ala.

FAYE PACE

Faye Pace, 82, of Chattanooga, formerly of Rainsville, Ala., passed away Jan. 14 at Parkridge Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Pace; daughter, Toni Ann Lewis; sister, Joyce Runkle and parents, AA and Vesta Dawson.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Danny Stone of Trenton, Sherry and Bill Sisk of Moore, Okla.; brother, Ralph Dawson of Rainsville, Ala.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Jan. 19 in the Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment was in Mountain View Memory Gardens.

VIRGINIA RAMEY

Virginia Stella Ramey, 84, of Trenton passed away Jan. 18 at her residence. She was a retired cook from Whizz Burger, Tiftonia.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Pell, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Gary and Melinda Pell, Rising Fawn, and brother, Roy D. Cronon, Suck Creek, Tenn.; special care givers, James Pell III and Cassandra Branham; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Jan. 21 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Charles Branham officiating. Interment was in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

EVIA STORY

Evia M. Story, 92, of Henagar, Ala., passed away Jan. 14. She worked for approximately twenty years as a volunteer with the Red Cross of DeKalb Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.C. “Bud” Story; parents, Grover and Myrtle Brown Wilson; sister, Freida Johnson; great-grandson, Seth Sharp.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Pat Storey of Bridgeport, Ala., Paul and JoAnn Storey of Henagar, Ala., David and Beverly Story of Dalton, Max and Lucretia Story, Jeff Story all of Henagar, Ala.; daughters and son-in-law, Ann and Bill Smith of Henagar, Ala., Carol West of Fort Oglethorpe; brother, Gerald Wilson of Chattanooga; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Jan. 16 in the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clinton Graham and Rev. Rex Creswell officiating.

Interment was in Henagar Community Cemetery.
