Dade County
Sheriff’s Department reported incidents from last week that included a shooting
and burglary.
Chief Detective
Don Hicks and Detective Mark Garner responded to a shooting call on Williams
Road in Rising Fawn on March 8th.
The
investigation revealed that Corey Williams had accidentally shot himself with a
22 rifle. He was transported by LifeForce to Erlanger Medical Center and
treated for what turned out to be a non-life threatening injury.

investigation further revealed that Williams is a convicted felon who is
currently on probation. Williams was charged with one count of a felon in
possession of a firearm. That is a felony charge and he is currently in the
Dade County Jail.
Detective
Garner also reported that two Dade County residents have been charged with
burglary in Dade as well as DeKalb County, Alabama.
Josh Morgan and
