The Dade County
Sheriff’s Department and other area law enforcement agencies are on the lookout
for Charles Edward "Eddie" Lawson after a stabbing incident at his
residence on Dakota Lane in Wildwood on Saturday.
According to a
witness Lawson stabbed Allen and Juanita Taylor shortly after they arrived at
his residence Saturday afternoon.
“It was nothing
that anyone knows caused this except our witness said suddenly it just went
crazy,” Chief Detective Don Hicks said.
A friend loaded
the victims into his car and headed to Erlanger Hospital. According to reports
he made it to Martin Luther King Boulevard in Chattanooga when he flagged down
an emergency vehicle who summoned an ambulance that took the Taylors to the
had lacerated livers from the stab wounds and had lost a large amount of blood.
After surgery they are both listed in stable condition.
It is believed
that Lawson and his girlfriend fled the scene shortly after the incident and
are still on the run. They are believed to be traveling in a teal minivan with
Georgia tags. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is ask to contact
