their first win of the year 30-26 over the North Murray Mountaineers.
Dade will welcome Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe this Friday. Game time is

The Dade County
Wolverines traveled to Chatsworth on Friday night to face the North Murray
Mountaineers in a non-region game.
game was a real shoot-out as almost 100 points were scored in the game that
wasn’t decided until very late in the contest.
game started out the same way as the Wolverines would score first when Zac
Freeman raced around left end for a 44–yard touchdown run. Aaron Shepard kicked
the extra point and the Wolverines were up 7-0.
In less than
three minutes the Mountaineers responded with a touchdown of their own when
Hinton McConkey scored from 10 yards out and the Aaron Mendez extra point tied
the game, 7-7.
In just over
two minutes Dade responded as Freeman again found wide–open territory and raced
in for a 40–yard touchdown run. Shepard’s kick made it 14-7 Wolverines with
over four minutes left in the first quarter.

two–point conversion attempt failed and the Wolverines were up 14-13.

The second half
was an entirely different story especially in the third quarter.

McConkey to Jordan Adams but the extra point try was no good and the score was

later the Mountaineers scored again on another McConkey pass, this time for six
yards to Payton Swilling. The Mendez kick was good and the Mountaineers had
their first lead of the game 26-23.
From that point
on the game was dominated by defense until just over seven minutes remained in

Wolverines will host Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe in the final non-region game of
the season. Both teams come in with 1-1 records with LFO losing to Gordon Lee
and defeating Heritage. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
