CAROLYN BOLAND

Carolyn Nadine Boland, 63, of Jasper, Tenn., passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013. She was employed by Walmart of Lookout Valley. Mrs. Boland was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Boland was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Bennett and Catherine Jones, and brother, Lamar Bennett.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Wilcox, Chattanooga, Tenn.; son, Lebron Ponds, Jasper, Tenn.; grandchildren, Alisha Ponds and Justin Wilcox; sisters, Vickie Spangler and Renee Abrams, both of Hixson, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were Dec. 17 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John David Jones officiating. Interment was in Hooker Cemetery.

BONNIE PITTMAN

Bonnie Inez Franks Pittman, 85, of Trenton, passed away Dec. 7, 2013. She was a member of the United Church of God.

Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her husbands, Ruelle Franks and Carl Pittman; sons, Newell Franks and Melvin Franks; daughter, Judith Harmon.

Survivors include her son Reece (Edith) Franks, Trenton; brother, Nelson Thompson, Chickamauga; grandchildren, Pam Kinsey, Christina Rozzell, Glen Baker, Melvin Junior Franks and Bonnie Darty; 14 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friend and companion, Bobby Bright.

Funeral services were Dec. 11 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Don Taylor officiating. Interment was in Forest Hills Cemetery.

BRADY TINKER

Brady “Junior” Tinker, 70, of Trenton, passed away Dec. 15 in a Hamilton County healthcare facility. He was a self employed carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Brady and Annadelle Tinker; brother, Jackie Tinker; and sisters, Peggy Dotson and Sheila Vaughn.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Lynn Tinker, Brady Tinker; daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Frank Knight, Dianne and David Brant, Karen and Russell Godwin, Nanette and David Kesler; companion of 30 years, Pat Tinker; sisters, Virginia Colter, Alleen Hilton; brother, James Tinker; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Dec. 21 at White Oak Baptist Church in Trenton at 1 p.m.

JOANN TUCKER

Joann Clarice Tucker, 81, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. She enjoyed raising children as a Nanny. Mrs. Tucker was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she loved her church family.

Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Lon A. Tucker and daughter, Betty Jo Tucker.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Gilliam, Chickamauga; sons, John Tucker, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Ron (Gretchen) Tucker, Slygo; Kenneth (Patricia) Tucker, Winchester, Tenn.; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at Calvary Baptist Church Dec. 17 with Rev. Billy Wallace officiating. Interment was in Bethlehem Cemetery.
