Political Debates
Do you plan to attend any of the political debates planned throughout the county in the coming weeks?

The Dade County Sheriff’s department arrested a man last week that they believe is connected to several of the recent burglaries around the county.

On Friday afternoon, December 20th Dade County Deputies arrested Tommy Lee Barron, 37, of a Chattanooga address who was in the area of Worley Chapel Road where burglaries had been reported.

When officers stopped to question Barron, who was walking along the road, he was found to have items that had been reported stolen in his possession.

Barron was taken into custody and transported to the Dade County Jail.

While the case is still under investigation Barron is suspected of being involved in at least four burglaries in the County. Two of those took place in the Slygo Community and two others on Sand Mountain.

While the investigation continues Barron remains in the Dade County Jail. At press time no bond had been set.

He has been charged with four counts of burglary, first degree, residential.
