Optimist Club's Essay Contest
school students are encouraged to enter Optimist International's essay contest
by contemplating the phrase “How Dreams Lead to Success.”
Trenton/Dade Optimist Club will judge the local students' essays, based on the
theme of "How Dreams Lead to Success" and determine the top winners.
Winners will receive awards and the winning essays will be sent to the district
level where college scholarships are available for top winners.
for entries is Jan. 24. Public school students and home school students are
eligible to compete.

Sign Language Classes
language classes will begin Monday at Silent Word Ministries. Classes will be
from 6:30-9 p.m. through Jan. 24
The class is
free but materials are $5.
