The Dade County
Lady Wolverines traveled to Summerville last Friday for a big 7-AA region game
with the Lady Indians of Chattooga. A win and the Lady Wolverines would have
the fourth seed in the upcoming region tournament and a first round bye.
Wolverines got off to a good start in spite of Sarah Reed being sick and not
dressed for the game.

points of the quarter and only trailed 28-26 heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth
quarter the Lady Wolverines owned the free throw line, hitting an outstanding
16 of 18 attempts.

Tori Gass and
Marjorie Bonner led the Lady Wolverines with 15 points each while Haley Gass
scored nine and Lauren Breeden scored seven. Hannah Monday scored three points
and Jessica Vaughan scored one.
afternoon the Lady Wolverines traveled to Chickamauga to face the Lady Trojans
of Gordon Lee.
Wolverines played again without the services of Reed who was with the team but
unable to play for the second game in a row.
It turned out
to be a long afternoon for the Lady Wolverines after playing the Lady Trojans
even after the first quarter, 9-9.

This week the
Lady Wolverines wrap up the regular season by traveling to Calhoun on Tuesday
and Pepperell on Friday.
