My name is Nathan Baker and I am 35 years old. I am a lifelong resident of Dade County, and the Davis Community (District 2). I am married to Martha (Lowe) Baker and we have two children, Kaleb and Ella. I am employed with the Rossville Police Department as a patrolman and I formally served Dade County for 10 years as a Sheriff’s deputy.
Citizens of Dade County, I recently qualified to seek the District 2 Commissioner seat to represent the Sand Mountain area in the Republican primary. I seek this position, to be your voting voice in county government, with honesty and integrity. I truly feel Dade County is a wonderful place to reside and raise a family. I want to see the county build on what’s already going forward. Also, I want to ensure a bright future for our children so we are all proud to call Dade County our home.
I fully understand that everyone has different opinions on how local government should function and spend hard earned tax dollars. I pledge when elected, to always make decisions in the best interest of the public, and the county, to the best of my ability while never being anyone’s “yes man”.
I humbly ask for your vote in the May 20 Republican primary as I look forward to the opportunity to serve the citizens of Dade County once again.
