Political Debates
Do you plan to attend any of the political debates planned throughout the county in the coming weeks?

Tax Sale Nets Over $22,000

The Dade County Tax and Tag Commissioner’s office held its annual tax sale April 1. The auction's purpose was to sell off Dade County properties with outstanding property taxes.

Eight parcels of land were on the auction block and six were sold.

Total revenue for the county was $22,869.00.

Former property owners have a year to reclaim their property. In order to reclaim the sold property owners will have to pay the amount that the property brought at auction.
