The Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force along with the Dade County Sheriff’s Department confiscated approximately 40 marijuana plants at a residence on Pee Wee Street last week.

Officers were conducting a follow-up on a previous investigation when they found several marijuana plants outside the Pee Wee Street home.

A search warrant revealed several more plants inside the residence. These plants were much larger than those found outside.

As a result Michael Huckabee, 35, has warrants issued for his arrest in connection with the marijuana confiscation.

Officers stated that Huckabee was in the Hamilton County jail. After making bond in Hamilton County he was making arrangements to turn himself in to the Dade County Sheriff’s office.

Several other individuals were also arrested last week on drug related charges.

Dade County Sheriff Ray Cross reported that 22–year–old Jerry Lee Bowen of Trenton was arrested and faces possible drug charges. Bowen is currently on probation.

Also last week Jerry Lee Shirley, 48, was arrested for manufacturing of a controlled substance, intent to distribute, possession and use of drug related objects and giving false information.

Lori Lynn Toney, 46, of Chattanooga was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects.

Robert Lee Wilson, 19, also of Chattanooga was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute.

Carroll Lola White, 33, of Chattanooga was charged with possession of drug related objects, manufacturing of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Sheriff Ray Cross said his department was working very hard to get a hold on the drug problem in Dade County and that more arrest will be made.
