Election Results

Due to an early Tuesday morning press deadline the results from Tuesday’s Run–Off  Election will be in the July 30th edition of the Sentinel.

Election results are posted on the Sentinel’s website,www.dadesentinel.com.

DDS In Dade On Monday

The Department of Driver Services will be in Dade on Monday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. in the Dade County Justice Building.

Please bring a certified copy of your birth certificate, social security card and two items showing proof of your physical address.

School Lunch Prices Increase

Dade County school lunch prices are increasing.

Wilma Hulgan, Dade County Schools' Director of School Nutrition, recently released meal prices for the 2014-2015 school year. Lunch prices will increase by 10¢ at all schools in the system. Breakfast prices will remain unchanged.

Lunch prices for Dade and Davis Elementary Schools will be $1.70 per day; Dade Middle School, $1.90 and Dade County High School, $2. Student breakfast price remains unchanged at 90¢ and additional milk will be 40¢ each.

Adult lunches will be $2.90; adult breakfast, $1.60 and adult iced tea will cost 50¢.

Dade Days Is Aug. 2

The Dade County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Dade Days Aug. 2 and is currently seeking vendors, acts to perform or any other service you may provide.

The booths are $25 for a regular booth, $50 if you need electricity and $100 for political.
