Political Debates
Do you plan to attend any of the political debates planned throughout the county in the coming weeks?

Zach Freeman carries the ball for Dade during the Wolverines' rout of LaFayette's Ramblers last Friday night.

The Dade County High School Wolverine football team traveled to LaFayette last Friday for their first scrimmage of the season.

A rule change this year allows teams that did not have a spring practice to play two pre-season scrimmage games.

The Wolverine varsity dominated the host Rambles in the first half winning by a score of 28-0.
The Wolverines’ strong ground game and an aggressive defense was more than the host could handle.

The junior varsity played to a 6-6 tie in the second half of play.

The Wolverines will travel to Ft. Payne on Friday, Aug. 22 for their next scrimmage before opening the season at home against North Sand Mountain on Friday, Aug. 29.
