Early Voting Ends Friday

This is the last week for early voting as polls close Friday afternoon. Election Day is July 31st and no voting will take place on Monday before the election.

With three weeks of early voting the turnout has been very good.

As of Tuesday morning 930 voters had cast their ballots.

A large number of candidates are seeking office this year and that has helped generate a great amount of interest in the election.

If a runoff election is needed it will be held Aug. 21 with early voting beginning Aug. 13.

If you plan to vote early, time is running out! Polls close Friday at 5 p.m.

Election day polls open at 7 a.m.
