As I sat in a
doctor’s office I was inspired to write a thought about God’s replacement
program. As I shared this with others, I was amazed at the good response from
those who received it. Well, I guess I am a poet and didn’t know it. So, I
thought, if it was a blessing to some, it may also be a blessing to others.
I have learned
that there are times that every one needs a new beginning. There are also times
we will suffer from things we did not cause, and things we cannot change. I
have learned that life can be tough! During these times I also have learned
that God has a special replacement program ...
“Put off all
these... Put on therefore” (Colossians 3:8-14). My desire is that this thought
will also be a blessing and comfort to you as it was to me... So here is my
little poem...
“Lord, Thank
You... For replacing my panic, with your peace. For replacing my sorrow, with
your Spirit. For replacing my cares, with your contentment. For replacing my
heaviness, with your hope. For replacing my stress, with your serenity. For
replacing my loneliness, with your love. For replacing my anxiety, with your
abiding. For replacing my guilt, with your grace. For replacing my grief, with
your goodness. For replacing my pain, with your presence ...Lord, I Thank You!”
